About
Priscilla Shrestha is a junior level student from Nepal pursuing her education in Kent State University with a major in Fashion Design and minor in Entrepreneurship. Priscilla loves exploring cultures, traditions and expressing it through fashion. As she has worked in a fast-paced garment company and once worked for herself in an online store she has been able to adapt herself to work in both and understands the financial pressure and workload. With this experience, she wants to start up her company in coming days that embraces sustainability and women empowerment. She aspires to make a difference in her country which is 5 years behind in fashion as well as sustainability.
She has also been able to help an INGO as a project coordinator and has been able to serve more than 1000 or more families through providing housing, food, health and so on when Nepal was hit by 7.8 magnitude earthquake in 2015, this has taught her to be a people person, make project works and raise donations. Apart from studying she is also a manager in Kent State Café Food4Thought. Her experience has proven she is responsible, dedicated, humble and gets her work done.
